Why I developed E1 Trace
Stephen Wright Planning & Delay Expert
Over more than 30 years in construction, planning and delay analysis, I have worked with the records behind complex projects, extension of time claims and disputes. That work has reinforced the importance of understanding what the evidence records, how events relate to the programme and where information remains incomplete.
I developed E1 Trace, our construction project records and analysis software, to support that process: bringing documents, correspondence, programme information and reporting into a connected workspace. The aim is to make records easier to find, sequences of events easier to examine and conclusions easier to trace back to their sources.
E1 Trace reflects the way I approach professional assignments - with careful attention to the evidence, clear reasoning and visibility of gaps or conflicting information. It supports the organisation and analysis of project information while keeping professional judgement central.
